Are you a passionate, adaptable, and dedicated Primary Teacher living in the Medway area?
Supply Desk are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded Chatham-based primary school, seeking a resilient and enthusiastic teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting September 2025, continuing until at least April 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced educator looking to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive school environment.
About the Role:
Full-time maternity cover teaching position within a primary setting (year group flexibility is a bonus).
Start date: September 2025, with the role continuing until April 2026 (possibility of further extension).
You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
You’ll play a key role in contributing to the school community, attending meetings, and collaborating with colleagues to support pupils’ academic and personal development.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Confidence and flexibility to teach across different primary year groups, if required.
A resilient, reliable, and hardworking approach with strong classroom management skills.
An inclusive and engaging teaching style that fosters positive relationships with pupils.
Someone based in Medway or able to easily commute to Chatham.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
