KS1 Primary Teacher - Bournemouth
Are you ready to inspire and lead a bright Year 1 class?
A welcoming and inclusive Business Mainstream Primary School in Bournemouth is looking for a passionate and dedicated full-time KS1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a Year 1 class in a supportive environment that values both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals. The role starts in September 2025, and a school tour will be offered before progressing to a formal interview.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
Assess and track pupil progress, tailoring support where needed.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil development.
Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, particularly Year 1.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Commitment to child safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
Applications welcomed from both early career teachers and experienced educators.
An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
