SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SEN Hub
 Location: Sutton Coldfield, B72
 Contract: Long-term/Permanent
 Day Rate: £110-£120
 Start Date: September 2026
 Commutable From: Erdington, Wylde Green, Boldmere, Birmingham, Castle Bromwich
 
 The Opportunity:
 Long Term Futures are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the B72 area from September 2026.
 
 This role will be based within the school's dedicated SEN Hub, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs through a combination of 1:1 support and small-group interventions.
 
 You will work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and wider support team to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, regulate emotions, and make positive progress both academically and socially. The school offers a highly supportive and inclusive environment with a strong focus on personalised learning.
 
 Your Key Responsibilities:
 * Provide 1:1 and small-group support within the school's SEN Hub
 * Support pupils with a range of SEN and additional learning needs
 * Deliver targeted interventions linked to EHCP outcomes and individual learning plans
 * Help pupils access the curriculum through adapted activities and personalised support
 * Support communication, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
 * Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals
 * Promote independence, confidence, and engagement with learning
 * Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
 
 Requirements:
 * Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary or specialist setting
 * Experience delivering 1:1 and small-group support
 * Understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches
 * Strong communication and behaviour management skills
 * Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
 * Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive SEN team
 * Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
