Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR, dependent on experience and responsibility

We are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our team from September 2025, with an additional responsibility suited to their strengths—such as subject leadership or a pastoral role.
Role Overview:
As a KS1 Teacher with Additional Responsibility, you will be instrumental in shaping the learning experiences of our youngest pupils while also contributing to wider school development. Whether you're passionate about early literacy, phonics, or leading a curriculum area, this is a fantastic opportunity to combine high-quality classroom teaching with meaningful leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

Support and challenge pupils to make strong progress across all areas of learning

Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, independence, and confidence
*
Take responsibility for an agreed area of school development (e.g. subject or phase leadership)
*
Use assessment data effectively to plan for individual needs and improve outcomes
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners
*
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and professional development
We Are Looking For:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Strong experience teaching in Key Stage 1
*
A passion for early education and child development
*
A reflective and ambitious practitioner with leadership potential
*
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
*
Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
*
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
