Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time
Are you a passionate KS1 Teacher seeking a new challenge in a supportive school environment?
GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to work in primary schools in the Gainsborough area.
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching pupils in Years 1 and/or 2, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while meeting national learning objectives. You will work closely with teaching assistants and senior leaders to support children’s individual learning journeys. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT eager to contribute to pupils’ academic and personal development.
Responsibilities of KS1 Teacher:
Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the KS1 national curriculum
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and setting targets
Foster pupils’ independence, confidence, and love for learning
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to support children’s needs
Key Stage 1 Teacher Qualification:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics schemes
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
