Job Description
KS1 Part-Time Teacher
* Job Share 2.5/3 days
* (Wednesday-Friday)
* Paid to Scale
* ECTs welcome
* Start Date: September 2025
The Role
In this role you will be taking on class teaching responsibilities with one of the KS1 classes, Wednesday-Friday, in a job share role with a current member of staff. The school are looking for a qualified teacher with previous experience although ECTs are welcome. You should have a creative and caring approach with excellent communication skills. You will work closely with your partner teacher and as a ttwo-form entry school, you will have the advantage of planning and preparing learning activities within a larger year group team. Your role will include completing learning journals as assessments and you will have regular contact with parents and carers.
The ideal candidate
The school is looking for an individual who is confident, patient, and proactive — someone who can build trust and rapport with the child while maintaining clear boundaries and structure.
