The Role: We are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join the school from September 2025. You will be teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2, depending on your experience and preference) with the support of an experienced teaching assistant and a parallel class teacher. This is a full-time role with the intention of becoming permanent. The school welcomes applications from both qualified teachers and ECTs, and will provide structured support and mentorship for early career teachers. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver and assess high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Track and support pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary Work closely with the year group team, support staff, and SLT Maintain strong communication with parents and carers Contribute to whole-school events and ongoing CPD What We’re Looking For: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, or a strong placement background for ECTs Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics programmes (e.g. Read Write Inc, Little Wandle) Confident behaviour management and a warm, nurturing teaching style Enthusiastic, reflective, and collaborative approach Why Work With Milk Education?
