Job Title: KS1 Teacher Location: Rotherham Rate: £150 to £230 per day (Depending on experience) Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Start Date: September 2025 Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher ready for your next exciting opportunity? GSL Education are seeking a committed KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Rotherham. About the Role: As a KS1 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in guiding young learners through their early educational journey. You’ll work alongside a team of enthusiastic professionals to deliver engaging lessons that support both academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities of Key Stage 1 Teacher: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued Provide tailored support through one-on-one and small group instruction Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic student development Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Open to ECTs and trainee teachers Strong communication and interpersonal skills A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching A commitment to inclusive education and student well-being Additional educational qualifications or training (desirable but not essential) Why Join GSL Education?
