Overview:
Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected primary school in Derby City to recruit a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a full-time position starting September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS1.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
* Creating a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment where every child feels valued and can thrive.
* Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to support pupil development.
* Contributing to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience in a UK primary setting
* Is passionate about education and student achievement
* Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
