Job Description
A friendly and supportive primary school in Great Barr is working exclusively with Applebough Education to recruit a committed Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team for the Autumn term, with the potential for the role to continue beyond.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys laying the foundations for lifelong learning. The successful candidate will take full class responsibility in Reception, delivering a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum and supporting every child’s development.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, child-centred lessons in line with the EYFS framework

Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
*
Track progress and provide targeted support to meet individual needs
*
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
*
Support the wider school ethos and contribute to team planning and assessment
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching in Reception or EYFS preferred
*
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
*
A nurturing, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
