KS1 Class Teacher – Permanent Position September 2025 Start | Full-time or Part-time | Two-Form Entry Primary | Colchester
We are seeking a motivated and passionate KS1 Class Teacher to join our thriving two-form entry primary school in Colchester from September 2025. This is a permanent position with both full-time and part-time options available, depending on the right candidate.

The Role: You will take responsibility for a KS1 class (Year 1 or Year 2, based on experience and preference), delivering high-quality lessons that promote progress and engagement. You will work closely with your parallel class teacher and be supported by experienced phase leaders and teaching assistants.
Candidate Profile:
· Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 or strong interest in early primary education
· A secure understanding of the KS1 curriculum, phonics, and formative assessment
· High expectations for all learners and a reflective, adaptable approach to teaching
· Able to foster strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
· Brings creativity, warmth, and a positive mindset to the classroom
