Job Description:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and curriculum-aligned lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional development
Use a range of formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress and inform planning
Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school community to support each child’s learning journey
Contribute to the development of the KS1 curriculum and participate in whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience teaching in a KS1 setting (desirable but not essential)
Be a creative and reflective practitioner with a strong understanding of child development and early literacy and numeracy
Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
Be committed to inclusive practice, safeguarding, and child wellbeing
Be enthusiastic about continuous professional development and team collaboration
