The school is seeking a passionate and experienced KS1 teacher to join the team from October 2025 covering maternity. This is a full-time teaching role with responsibilities including:
Planning and preparing engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Marking pupils' work and providing constructive feedback
Writing detailed reports and setting individual targets for pupils
Conducting assessments to monitor progress and inform planning
Attending and contributing to parents' evenings and school events
Liaising closely with the class Teaching Assistant to support lower ability and SEN pupils
Tailoring learning activities in line with EHCPs to ensure inclusive and effective supportThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking school where you can make a real impact on children's learning and development.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in KS1
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
Experience supporting children with SEN and working with EHCPs
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A collaborative and reflective approach to teachingWhat you'll get in return
