Location: Hailsham
Salary: £130 - £150 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Primary Teacher looking for a new role this September?
GSL Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated KS1 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in the Hailsham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to a nurturing school community.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated
Assess and track student progress to ensure continued development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
Follow school policies on behaviour, assessment, and safeguarding
Take part in staff meetings, training, and school initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Proven experience teaching in KS1
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting children’s growth
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Updated CV with relevant experience
