KS1 Teacher
Location: Bromley
Position: Key Stage 1 Class Teacher
Start date: September 2025
Pay: £3,500 - £4,500 per month
Veritas Education are delighted to be working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Bromley, South East London, to recruit a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is well-regarded for its nurturing ethos, engaging curriculum, and commitment to supporting every child to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will take on a Year 1 or Year 2 class, delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to creating engaging lessons, building strong relationships with pupils and families, and contributing positively to the whole school community.
The Ideal KS1 Teacher Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential for ECTs)
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment framework
Creativity and adaptability in planning and delivering lessons
Excellent classroom management skills with a nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A passion for fostering children's academic, social, and emotional development
Main Responsibilities Include:
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Creating a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Monitoring pupil progress and using assessments to inform teaching
Supporting pupils' individual needs and promoting well-being
Establishing strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular opportunities
