Job Summary Smile Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Redditch, part of Bordesley Multi Academy Trust. This is a part-time maternity cover position, working 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday) from December 2025 until the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher looking to make a real difference within a supportive and high-achieving school environment.
The Role The successful KS1 Teacher will:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 1.
Share planning and assessment responsibilities as part of a job share.
Create engaging and inclusive lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
Maintain high expectations for pupils’ progress and behaviour.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.Requirements To be considered for this KS1 Teacher role, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Recent experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 classroom.
A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
