KS1 Teaching Assistant – North Tyneside
Salary: £444.60 – £475 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring, and committed KS1 Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in North Tyneside. This school is proud to nurture every child, celebrating individual achievements and providing the support needed for all pupils to thrive—academically and personally.
Your Role:
Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
Provide 1:1 and small group support, including to pupils with SEND
Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Work closely with teaching staff to support learning and progress
Be a positive role model and trusted adult for young learners
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with primary-aged children (KS1 focus preferred)
Understanding of, or experience with, special educational needs
A nurturing, flexible, and professional attitude
Genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s growth and development
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
