The Role As our new KS2 Class Teacher, you’ll create exciting and engaging lessons that spark curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of learning. You'll be more than a teacher — you'll be a guide, a cheerleader, and a builder of confidence. But that’s not all — you’ll also take the lead in English across the school. This is your chance to shape how reading and writing are taught and celebrated, and to champion the magic of words across every year group. As English Lead, you’ll: Drive the development of an inclusive, inspiring English curriculum. Support colleagues with creative ideas and strategies for teaching English. Foster a whole-school love of reading and writing — from phonics to poetry! Bring bold, imaginative thinking to how we teach literacy and engage every learner. We’re Looking For Someone Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has a genuine love for English — and wants to pass it on! Delivers high-quality, creative, and purposeful lessons. Is a team player who’s open to sharing and learning. Brings energy, leadership, and vision to the English Lead role. Is committed to inclusion, kindness, and student wellbeing.
