KS2 Teacher - Maternity Cover - Hounslow
Full-time | January Start | Long-term with Potential for Permanent Role | M1-UPS3
Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a well-regarded two-form entry primary school in Hounslow to recruit a KS2 Teacher for maternity cover starting January 2025. This role will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension or a permanent appointment.
The school is set within modern facilities, including bright classrooms, a large playing field, and a well-equipped ICT suite. It holds a strong reputation for pastoral care and inclusion, and pupils are described as enthusiastic and eager to learn. The school is close to the Piccadilly Line, offering quick access from across West London, and also benefits from on-site staff parking.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a KS2 class
Differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
Track pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with parallel teachers and teaching assistants
Attend meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development sessions
Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) recognised in the UK
Prior experience teaching in KS2
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
A reflective practitioner who seeks continual improvement
ECTs welcome with good placement experience
