Location: Lambeth, South London

Are you an experienced or aspiring SEN Teacher with a passion for supporting children with Autism?
Would you like to be part of a dedicated specialist team within a primary school setting?
A well-resourced and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a KS2 SEN Teacher to lead a small class within their on-site Autism Resource Base (ARB). The unit provides a calm, structured and nurturing environment for children with a primary diagnosis of Autism, some of whom may also have additional learning needs.
Role Highlights:
Full-time class teacher role within a specialist Autism Unit (KS2)
Teach a small group of pupils with high levels of TA support
Deliver a highly personalised curriculum based on pupils’ EHCPs
Implement strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, and sensory integration
Foster communication, independence and social developmentIdeal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – primary trained
Has experience working with pupils with Autism (ASD) and complex needs
Understands specialist strategies to support communication and emotional regulation
Committed, patient, and enthusiastic about inclusive education
Able to lead a team of support staff and work closely with therapists and SENCOsWhat the School Offers:
