About the Role:
We are recruiting for a full-time KS2 Class Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils within a KS2 class. The school is open to job share arrangements for the right candidates. This is a long-term position, perfect for a teacher who thrives on building strong relationships and fostering a positive learning environment.
Teaching Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2.
Differentiate work to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with the SLT, other teachers, and support staff.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school activities.
Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without QTS cannot be considered
Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school setting
Strong Key Stage 2 experience is preferred
Proven classroom and behaviour management skills
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching
