KS2 Teacher | Year 6 Focus | Waltham Forest | MPS/UPS | Experienced Teachers Only | April 2025 Start Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced KS2 Teacher to take on a Year 6 class in a large and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest. This role is ideal for a confident KS2 Teacher with strong classroom management skills and experience preparing pupils for end-of-year SATs. This is not a role for an ECT - the school is seeking a KS2 Teacher with a proven record of raising attainment, delivering high-quality teaching, and maintaining high expectations for pupil progress and behaviour. Role Details for the KS2 Teacher: Pay: Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) Start Date: April 2025 (Easter term start) Location: Waltham Forest, East London Contract: Full-time, long-term or permanent for the right candidate Responsibilities of a KS2 Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Year 6 pupils Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring they achieve their full academic potential Create a supportive and structured classroom environment Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team to share best practice and maintain consistency Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on pupil progress Requirements for the KS2 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Minimum of 3 years teaching experience within KS2 Experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs is essential Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum Excellent classroom management and communication skills Why Join This School as a KS2 Teacher?
