Year 6 Teacher - Full Time - Morecambe 

Location: Morecambe, Lancashire
Start Date: March 2026
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover  

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced primary teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Veritas Education is seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Morecambe.

This role will begin around March 2026 and will cover a maternity leave.

About the Role

Teach a Year 6 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
Prepare students for KS2 SATs, ensuring progress and confidence across all core subjects.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil achievement.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Year 6 teaching experience is highly desired.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and proven experience preparing pupils for SATs.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
