KS2 Maternity Cover | Full or Part Time Role Available

KS2 maternity cover opportunity in Amersham for a primary teacher seeking full-time or part-time educator within a supportive school setting.

KS2 Teacher, Maternity required for a primary school in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. This temporary maternity cover offers flexibility around full-time or part-time working and would suit an experienced primary teacher or ECT with strong KS2 knowledge.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS2 class during a period of maternity leave, working alongside experienced teachers and support staff.

You will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering effective KS2 lessons
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom routines
Working with teaching assistants to support individual needs
Completing marking and assessment in line with school expectations
Contributing to wider school life and professional meetings 

Candidate requirements

You will need QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, alongside recent UK primary teaching experience. Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is essential.
