Key Stage 2 (KS2) Class Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent Location: Gravesend, Kent Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced or aspiring Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in Gravesend, Kent, from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent post suitable for a passionate and committed teacher who is eager to make a difference in Key Stage 2 and contribute to a strong team culture focused on excellence in teaching and learning. Role Responsibilities: * Teach a Key Stage 2 class (Year group to be assigned based on skills and experience). * Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge and support all learners. * Differentiate instruction effectively to meet the diverse needs of the class, including SEND and EAL pupils. * Create a positive, inclusive classroom climate that promotes pupil independence, resilience and a love of learning. * Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to track progress and inform planning. * Work closely with year group partners and subject leaders to support curriculum delivery and innovation. * Engage positively with parents, carers and colleagues to foster strong partnerships across the school community. Candidate Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. * Solid knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and pedagogy. * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. * A reflective and adaptable approach to teaching and learning. * High expectations for all pupils, with a focus on both academic progress and well-being. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and the wider aims of the school.
