KS2 Teacher - Near Towcester, Northamptonshire
Full-time | Temporary Contract | MPS | November 2025 Start
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a friendly, small primary school near Towcester, starting after the October half term. This is a full-time, temporary position to cover a planned absence, working with a mixed-year group class.
The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with a strong sense of community and supportive leadership. This role offers the chance to work in a nurturing environment where every pupil is known and valued.
Key Information:
Start date: Monday 3rd November 2025 (after half term)
Contract: Full-time, temporary (duration to be confirmed)
Location: Rural setting near Towcester, Northamptonshire
Class: Mixed-age Key Stage 2
Salary: Main Pay Scale (M3-M6)
QTS and previous KS2 teaching experience required
Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
We're looking for someone who:
Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Brings proven experience in KS2 and confidence teaching mixed-year groups
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and planning skills
Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Embraces the values and community spirit of a small school environment
