About the Role:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the curriculum in an engaging and effective way, supporting the academic and personal development of pupils aged 7-11. You will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider community to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2
Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide timely feedback
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere
Engage with parents and colleagues to support children's learning and wellbeing
Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetingsPerson Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 preferred but not essential
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for inspiring children and commitment to their development
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
