Location: Eastbourne
Salary: £130 – £150 per day (dependent on experience)

GSL Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and confident Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Eastbourne. This long-term opportunity is perfect for a committed professional who thrives on helping children succeed and flourish in the classroom.
The Role:
You will be leading a KS2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that promote academic achievement and personal growth. This role includes full teaching responsibilities and collaboration with colleagues to ensure a consistent and inclusive approach to education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Foster independence, creativity, and a love of learning
Set and maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour and progress
Build a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
Collaborate with staff and communicate effectively with parents/carers
Participate in whole-school events, CPD, and planning sessions
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting
Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for education and a commitment to pupil wellbeing
A current CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
