Job Description

On behalf of our client school, we are looking for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 teachers who can teach in the New Mills area. The school is a lovely, family feel single form entry school in a wondefrful rural setting with happy children who are keen to learn. This school has an extraordinary charm and ethos which holds the children at the heart of all decisions and educates children from diverse backgrounds.
Headed up by an experienced Headteacher and leadership team, this is a wonderful place to work where staff are friendly, supportive and share a similar vision to promote positive change. Staff have high expectations of children, especially in attendance and behaviour which naturally impacts greatly on achievement and have established strong relationships with families and the local community.
Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Undertake full class teaching responsibilities in the EYFS provision and/or KS1 and KS2 classrooms
Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framesowkr and or KS1/2 curriculum and ensure learning experiences challeng pupils accordingly to reach their potenaitl
Use adapative teaching methods to ensure activities are accessible for all integrating opporutnities for critial thinking, reasoning and problem solving
Support a cross-curricular approach to learning with a focus on creativity and where appropriate use modern technology to enhance learning experiences
Have good behaviour management based on positive reinforcement and establish a trusting, repsectful environment where every pupil can thrive
Work well independetly as well as with the wider team sharing best practice.

Essential Requirements:
Hold QTS Certification (or an equivalent teaching qualification from overseas)
Have experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
Be available from September and be able to communte to the New Mills area
Be able to provide two recent teaching references which demonstrate excellent practice in KS2
Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and overseas police check (if applicable)
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years employment with no gaps and provide 2 suitable references from your most recent roles in education.
