KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Tipton, Dudley, DY4
Daily Rate: £105 - £115 per day
Contract: Long Term to Permanent
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Commutable from: Dudley, Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Oldbury, Rowley Regis, Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Great Bridge
We are looking for a dedicated, proactive and encouraging individual to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school as in Tipton as a KS2 Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting Year 5 and Year 6 pupils through SATs preparation, booster sessions and targeted interventions for lower-ability learners.
Your Day-to-Day:
Deliver small group and 1:1 booster sessions to help pupils reach expected standards.
Support pupils who need targeted intervention to build confidence and close learning gaps.
Work collaboratively with the Year 6 team to track progress and adjust learning plans.
Reinforce key learning objectives and provide feedback to teachers on pupil attainment.
Support classroom learning and promote positive attitudes towards challenge and resilience.
Prepare and adapt learning resources to suit the needs of individual pupils.
Foster a supportive, motivating and inclusive learning environment where every child can achieve success.About You:
Experience working in Key Stage 2 particularly with Year 5 or Year 6 pupils is highly desirable.
Confident in supporting pupils with varying levels of ability, including those below age-related expectations.
Knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum and an understanding of SATs requirements.
Patient, organised and enthusiastic with strong communication and teamwork skills.
A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential.Why Work With Long Term Futures:
