Job Description

Make a real difference in Year 6!
We are looking for a committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 class in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Bridgnorth. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role during pupils’ final year of primary education, helping them prepare for SATs and transition to secondary school.

Your responsibilities will include:

  * Providing whole-class support alongside the teacher

  * Delivering small group interventions in Maths and English

  * Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs

  * Assisting with SATs preparation and booster sessions

  * Helping maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment

  * Contributing to school activities and supporting learning beyond the classroom

What we’re looking for:

  * Experience working in UK primary schools (Year 6 experience desirable)

  * Strong literacy and numeracy skills

  * Ability to build rapport and motivate pupils

  * A proactive, flexible, and supportive attitude

  * Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
