Academics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Wandsworth, starting in September 2025. The school are looking for a Teaching assistant who is able to have a positive impact and give classroom support to both teachers and pupils in KS2 and to help towards their development.
Location: Primary school in Wandsworth
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £90-£110 (Dependent on experience)
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning as well as general class cover.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and help them reach their potential.
Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help with supervision during break times and school trips.Requirements:
Experience working in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
