KS2 Teaching Assistant - Cardiff Primary School 📚
Location: Cardiff
Setting: Primary School - Key Stage 2
Start Date: Beginning of October
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Daily Rate: £88.94 (increases dependent on client rate, experience, and qualifications)
We are seeking a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Cardiff, working within Key Stage 2.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has a proven track record of supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the academic development of pupils in KS2
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver lessons and manage the classroom environment
Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups where needed
Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience working in a primary school setting (KS2 experience preferred)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council)
A proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive approach to working with children
