Job Description

At Aspire we are working closely with a School who is looking for a committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide support in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6. This role will be perfect for someone with a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum, who has the skills to support children with their academic needs, as well as their social and emotional development in preparation for their transition to secondary school.
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will assist with small group work, support targeted interventions, and provide 1:1 support for pupils working towards SATs. You will also be a key part of the school's commitment to ensuring all pupils have the tools to succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support teaching and learning across KS2
* Assist with interventions and small-group support for literacy, numeracy, and SATs prep
* Help maintain a calm and structured learning environment
* Support students with additional needs, offering 1:1 assistance when required
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and assist with assessments
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

We are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant who:
* Has experience working in KS2, or holds a relevant qualification in education
* Demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills
* Is proactive, organised, and passionate about helping students achieve their potential
* Can work flexibly, adapting to meet the needs of individual students
* Has a commitment to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally
