This exciting KS2 Teaching Assistant opportunity focuses on providing booster support and tailored interventions, both 1:1 and in small groups. You'll play a crucial role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and achieve meaningful progress.
Key responsibilities
• Deliver intervention sessions for literacy and numeracy under teacher guidance
• Support pupils with SEN, promoting inclusion and emotional well-being
• Assist in classroom activities and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Foster a nurturing space where every child feels valued and supported
Ideal candidate
• Previous TA experience in KS2 and/or working with SEN pupils
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Passion for education and a desire to support every child’s potential
• A flexible, can-do approach to working in a team-oriented environment
