We’re working with a leading engineering business based in Glasgow that is looking to appoint a Learning & Development Officer to support the continued growth and upskilling of their workforce. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who enjoys being close to operations while helping shape learning initiatives across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver learning and development programmes across the business, from apprenticeships to leadership training
*
Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of technical and non-technical training solutions
*
Partner with managers to identify training needs and tailor development plans accordingly
*
Manage relationships with external training providers and ensure quality and compliance
*
Maintain accurate training records and support reporting on learning metrics
*
Promote a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organisation
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience in an L&D role, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial setting
*
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of learners
*
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
*
Familiar with blended learning approaches, e-learning platforms, and competency frameworks
*
A recognised L&D or HR qualification would be beneficial (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or equivalent)
