Are you ready to take the reins of organisational transformation in the public sector? Our client is seeking a dynamic and passionate Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) Lead to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to influence workforce development and cultural improvement across a diverse range of services!
Position Details:
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 7 months
Working Pattern: Full Time - Hybrid
Minimum 2-3 days per week on site / in office in Croydon
Daily Rate: £550 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35) About the Role:
As the L&OD Lead, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a corporate L&OD strategy that aligns with the needs of residents, visitors, local businesses, and students. Your mission? To elevate the capabilities of the workforce and drive meaningful change through innovative learning solutions. You'll be at the forefront of:
Developing annual L&OD plans that translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives.
Enhancing the learning culture by promoting a blended approach that includes online materials, experiential learning, coaching, and face-to-face training.
Ensuring all L&OD spend aligns with the Learning and Development (L&D) strategy for maximum value. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement workforce development strategies.
Oversee the Corporate OD budget, ensuring effective allocation and value generation.
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster an equitable workplace culture.
Enable employees to excel in their roles and access inspiring learning content whenever and wherever needed.
Work closely with the Head of Workforce Strategy to continuously build and reform the L&OD strategy. Who You Are:
A seasoned professional with expertise in organisational development, workforce development, and change management.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and capable of building robust partnerships with various external partners and internal teams.
A champion for diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to challenging prejudice and discrimination.
Experienced in coaching and mentoring, with a passion for developing talent.
