L2 Support Engineer | Public Sector | SC & NPPV Cleared
Location: Hybrid – weekly travel to client site near Southampton
Clearance: SC & NPPV active clearance required - SC as a minimum
Rate: Dependent on experience (Inside IR35)
Start: November
Duration: Initial 6 months, likely extension
SR2 is supporting a consultancy client on a long-term public sector programme and we’re looking for a Level 2 Support Engineer with experience in secure environments and strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and cloud services.
Key requirements:
Proven experience in L2 technical support
Comfortable working with AWS-hosted infrastructure
Strong understanding of service support workflows (ITIL frameworks beneficial)
Comfortable supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native tools
Experience with ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira)
Excellent stakeholder communication and escalation management
