Lab Technician - Secondary School - Hounslow
Location: Hounslow, London
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time (plus some inset days as required)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

A well-respected and ambitious secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Lab Technician to support practical science teaching across the curriculum. Main Duties as a Lab Technician will include:
Setting up and dismantling apparatus for science experiments
Managing chemical inventories and ensuring safe storage procedures
Supporting students and staff during practical activities when required
Ensuring the labs meet health and safety standards at all times
Maintaining and organising equipment and materials efficiently
The Ideal Candidate:
Has some experience in a laboratory or school science department
Holds a science-related qualification (A-level or above preferred)
Understands COSHH and general lab safety procedures
Is adaptable, thorough, and keen to work in a busy school environment
Enjoys working as part of a team and takes initiative
