Lab Technician
Salary - £12.60 per hour
Location – Manston, Kent

Hours - 35 hours per week
We have a fantastic opportunity in Manston for a Lab Technician to work for one of our clients. You will be working full-time.
Due to the location of this role, ideally, you will have access to your own transport and be able to carry out some manual tasks.
Responsibilities
* Assist with order preparation and dispatch procedure in compliance with Customers’ expectations
* Assist in maintaining the production to expected levels
* Interface with the other departments to promote best practices and manage customers’ expectations
* Assist with monitoring inventories to ensure adequate equipment supplies
* Produce weekly reports
* Support, as and when requested, the Group Leader
* Participate in the development of individual and group training plans
* Assist with the maintenance of an efficient Quality Management System
Skills and Experience
* Proven animal care experience or a science-based qualification ideally biology
* Flexible attitude, willingness and ability to acquire and learn quickly new skills, new knowledge and new ways of working
* Ability to think strategically and able to prioritise work well
* Ability to adapt to situations and handle people of all capabilities and attitudes
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Computer literate
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
* Ability to communicate clearly with other members of the team
* Good personal organisation
* Ability to follow detailed instructions
* Ability to work under strict hygiene conditions
