Your Role at a Glance
As a Lab Support Coordinator, you’ll serve as the technical backbone of our field operations offering hands-on, real-time support to NHS labs using our equipment. You’ll work closely with lab teams, helping them get the best out of our systems while keeping things running smoothly.
* Deliver on-site technical support to hospital laboratories across your assigned patch.
* Handle reactive service visits and provide training to lab staff on systems and best practices.
* Be the face in the lab ensuring exceptional customer experiences and technical communication.
* Troubleshoot electro-mechanical and IT-related issues on high-end medical diagnostics equipment.
* Coordinate with a team of 4 regional engineers to cover 7 hospitals efficiently.
* Travel across sites using a company car (or receive allowance) while maintaining flexibility in working hours.
What We Need From You
* HND or higher in Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
* Field experience in diagnostic, medical, or hospital engineering environments.
* A strong grasp of regulatory compliance and confidentiality standards in healthcare.
* Solid experience with complex medical equipment (e.g., MRI, diagnostics platforms).
* A natural people person—able to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across hospital sites.
