Job Description
We are recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join a well-established, leading manufacturer of scientific consumables and a trusted provider within the Life Science industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory technician seeking career growth in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job responsibilities:
* Preparing and manufacturing laboratory products
* Processing and fulfilling sales orders, including labelling and packaging
* Managing inventory levels and ensuring stock is well maintained
* Overseeing equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
* Conducting internal audits and assisting with external assessments
* Supporting the development of SOPs, risk assessments, and quality management documentation
* Supervising and training laboratory staff and supporting the laboratory team lead where necessary
Requirements:
* Hands on laboratory experience is essential
* Experience with ISO 17025 & ISO 17034 is desirable
* Strong organisational and planning skills with great attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Additional experience with COSHH, risk assessments, and dangerous goods shipping are a plus!
