Labourer 

£15.00 PAYE per hour | 6-month contract
Burton upon Trent
Days only with early Friday finish

Hours:
07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday
07:00 to 13:00 Friday

The Role
We are recruiting a Labourer to support a busy Rail organisation in Burton upon Trent. This hands-on role involves steam bay cleaning, packing and wrapping parts, operating site equipment, and carrying out general Labouring duties within a regulated engineering environment

Key Duties

Wash/clean vehicles such as rafts, engines, rafts frames and transmissions using pressured washer equipment
Prepare machinery/vehicles for delivery
Must be able to pack and shrink wrap products
Must be able to assist in site maintenance as needed i.e. litter picking, compact and bale waste
Essential Skills

Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven engineering environment
You should be able to load and unload materials and equipment across the site
Clear focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
Desirable

Background and Experience in a warehouse, yard, manufacturing, engineering, or logistics environment
Experience working in regulated or safety critical settings
