Job Description
Are you a hardworking and reliable labourer looking for work? We have a short-term contract opportunity available on a busy new build housing site in the Hessle area of Hull. This role is perfect for someone looking to get straight to work and contribute to a key phase of the project!
About the Role:
As a general labourer on our site, your primary focus will be on site setup and access. Your duties will mainly involve:
Installing Heras fencing to secure site boundaries and designated areas.
Setting up public walkways and protective barriers to ensure public safety around the construction zone.
Assisting with the movement of materials and tools relevant to these tasks.
Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Following all site health and safety guidelines.
General labouring duties as required to support the site team.
Required Skills / Experience:
Previous experience in general labouring, ideally on a construction or housing site.
Valid CSCS card.
Experience with fence installation or groundworks is a bonus but not essential.
A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.
Good physical fitness as the role will involve manual tasks.
Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
