Job Description
Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who services the oil and gas industry and looking for a Skilled Labourer to add to their team on a 1-year fixed term contract. You'll be based in the Laurencekirk area.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3pm, Friday 7am - 1pm
Hourly Rate: £13.10
Daily Duties -
Perform workshop job processes including sawing, swage and stress relieve, bead blasting, phosphating, and general labouring duties
Move tubulars inside workshop with overhead crane
Carry out daily and weekly checks on all equipment as per procedures
Sign off route cards when tasks have been completed and inspected
General housekeeping duties e.g. bead media and phosphate solution levels are maintained, gauges are cleaned before returning to gauge room, clean machine at end of shiftCandidate Requirements -
Standard Grades or equivalent transferable experience and skills
Previous experience of Bead Blasting, Phosphating, Swaging, Stress Relieving, and Sawing
Gantry Crane Training
