Labourer – Long-Term Opportunity in Newmarket
* Location: Newmarket
* Rate: £15.00 per hour (CIS/UTR)
* Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (9.5 hours paid)
* Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for Labourers to join a long-term government-sensitive project in Newmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hard-working individuals seeking consistent work with competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with general site labouring, including lifting and moving materials.
* Keeping the site clean, organised, and free from hazards.
* Supporting skilled tradesmen by preparing work areas and handling tools and materials.
* Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and safely.
* Following strict health and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
* Adhering to site regulations and security protocols due to the sensitive nature of the project.
Requirements:
* CSCS Card – Mandatory.
* EL1 Security Clearance – Due to the nature of the project, successful candidates must undergo an EL1 background check, which is a government security clearance required for working on sensitive sites. This involves identity verification, right-to-work status, and a basic criminal record check. Assistance will be provided to complete this process.
* Previous site experience – Preferred but not essential.
* Ability to follow health & safety procedures and work in a professional manner.
* Right to work in the UK.
