We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team on a construction site in St Ives. This role involves assisting tradespeople, maintaining site cleanliness, and supporting day-to-day site operations. Ideal for someone physically fit and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting skilled tradespeople on-site (e.g., carpenters, bricklayers, electricians)
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
Preparing and cleaning job sites
Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as scaffolding
Following health and safety protocols
Operating hand and power tools where appropriate
General site clean-up and waste disposal
Requirements:
Previous labouring or construction site experience preferred but not essential
CSCS Card (preferred or required depending on site regulations)
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects
Punctual, reliable, and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Own transport desirable (depending on site location)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (typical hours; may vary by site)
Overtime available depending on project deadlines
