Job Description
Peterborough is currently seeking an experienced Team Manager for their Children in Care & Leaving Care Services on a competitive rate of £45 per hour.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within Corporate Parenting, working with adolescents with complex needs and making a real impact on outcomes.
Role Details:
Role: Team Manager - Children in Care & Leaving Care
Location: Sand Martin House, Peterborough
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days in the office - flexibility depending on workload)
Rate: £45 per hourAbout the Role:
Provide specialist leadership within Corporate Parenting Services
Lead practice supporting adolescents with complex emotional needs, trauma, exploitation risks, and high-risk behaviours
Drive trauma-informed and relationship-based practice
Oversee multi-agency care planning and support practitioners to deliver evidence-based interventions
Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities within safeguarding and corporate parenting
Promote a culture of reflective practice, collaboration, and high standardsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Manager looking for a rewarding role with strong impact and flexibility.

Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
Social Work England Registration
