This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the LADO Service with the focus and concentration on children’s protection from harm in education. The Education LADO advises schools and education professionals from Early Years through to 18 on the protection and safety of children in education settings. The LADO role is a statutory role which coordinates and manages allegations of harm against professionals within the field of education. It is a busy, challenging and rewarding role which really focuses the skills, confidence and knowledge of the experienced child protection manager and practitioner. In addition to managing the allegations process, the role incorporates training and development opportunities with our education partners. It includes chairing meetings, producing clear and analytical reports and visits to schools and education settingsBefore You Apply
