Key Responsibilities of the Licenced Aircraft Engineer (LAE B2 737 - E7 Wedgetail) Role:
Supervise a team of skilled avionics technicians, ensuring detailed inspections are carried out to the highest standards
Coordinate tasks and contribute to the smooth execution of the production and modification program
Serve as a key point of contact for all avionics-related aspects of the program, collaborating closely with the Avionics Lead SME
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
Provide mentorship and support to junior avionics personnel, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency
Qualifications and Skills Required:
CAA/EASA Part 66 B2 License
Type rated on Boeing 737NG with a minimum of 10 years of aircraft experience
Previous modification experience and excellent knowledge of avionics systems
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Eligible to work and live in the UK, with the ability to obtain UK security clearance
